The Ausable Club is a Private Club and the following information is provided for sponsored Guests of Members.

 

Dining Options

Dinner Reservations are required and should be made by 4:00pm by calling (518) 576-4411 X229.

Pre & Post Seasons at the Club

Breakfast 8:00am - 10:00am Saturday and Sunday
Lunch 12:00pm– 2:00pm Friday-Sunday
Dinner 6:30pm - 9:00pm Wednesday-Saturday

The above schedule will be generally followed; however due to a large number of weddings and private functions in the spring and fall, some weekend meal periods will not be available. A detailed pre and post season dining schedule will be posted at the Clubhouse.

Main Season (July 1st through August 31st)

Breakfast 7:30am - 10:30am
Lunch 12:00pm- 2:30pm
Lite Fare in the Bar 2:30pm - 5:30pm
Dinner 6:30pm - 9:00pm

Reservations are not accepted for Breakfast & Lunch
Any dinner reservations not cancelled prior to 5:00pm and "No-Shows" will incur a $10 per person cancellation/no-show charge.

Private Events at the Ausable Club

The beautiful natural surroundings of the Adirondacks and the unique atmosphere of the Ausable Club make it an ideal location to host a special event.

Your event can be staged just about anywhere you wish, with a wonderful collection of event sites that include:

•The Main Clubhouse Dining Room
•The Casino
•Living Room
•2nd or 3rd Floor Balconies
•The Beede Room.

For wedding ceremonies the golf course is the most popular location with spectacular views of Giant Mountain and the Adirondack Mountains back drop.

The clubhouse and cottages can be reserved for overnight guests. The large living room and covered porches are well suited for dancing or cocktail receptions. The Club dining room comfortably seats 200 for a seated event or up to 300 for a cocktail buffet.

Dining Room Dress Code
The dress code for the Dining Room is as follows: Monday through Friday – ladies: dresses, skirts or slacks; gentlemen: jackets and collared shirt (including young men over the age of 12). Saturday – ladies: dresses, skirts or slacks; gentlemen: jackets and ties (including young men over the age of six). Sunday – business casual attire for informal family dining. Blue jeans, blue jean skirts, tennis attire, fishing clothes, collar-less shirts, and shorts are not allowed in the Dining Room. Offensive, suggestive or skimpy attire is not appropriate for any Club area. The Dining Room Manager is authorized to require any Member or Guest to comply with the dress code before being seated.

Bar Dress Code
Appropriate attire is required in the bar. This would include golf casual attire, collared shirts, sweaters, etc. Appropriate dress shorts or fashion denim pants are acceptable. Members and Guests wearing tennis attire, swimming attire, fishing clothes, ball caps and tee shirts are not permitted for dinner hours in the bar, but may take their drinks to the Club porch. The Manager or bartender on duty is authorized to require any Member or Guest to comply with the dress code before entering the bar area.
